TAILORED PERSONAL TUTORING
Personalised educational support for young people who are unable to access conventional education.
Professional referral information ↓Sometimes the barrier isn't a young person's ability to learn. It's the environment in which they're expected to learn.
TailoredPT provides individualised educational support for learners who cannot access education in a conventional school setting. Our provision is designed around the individual learner, their circumstances, their needs and their potential.
Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) is an educational arrangement for children and young people who, for a range of reasons, are unable to access their education within a conventional school setting.
Rather than requiring a learner to fit an existing school environment, an EOTAS package can allow education to be structured around the individual.
TailoredPT can provide personalised educational support as part of an appropriate EOTAS package or other professionally arranged educational provision.
Provision begins with the learner rather than a standard classroom model.
Trust, consistency and genuine relationships provide the foundation for meaningful learning.
Where appropriate, learning can adapt around circumstances, interests, strengths and barriers.
We focus on meaningful educational progress while recognising that progress looks different for every learner.
TailoredPT may be appropriate for learners who are unable to access a conventional school environment and require a more individualised approach.
Suitability is considered individually and within arrangements made by the relevant professionals and commissioning body.
One-to-one educational support shaped around the learner.
Support with appropriate subjects, qualifications and educational goals.
Clear objectives and a structured approach to developing progress.
Regular review of engagement, attainment and wider educational progress.
We do not accept direct referrals from parents or members of the public.
Referrals should come through an appropriate professional or organisation involved in the young person's education, care or provision. This may include local authority teams, schools, SEND professionals, social care or other relevant services.
Referral arrangements, availability and suitability are considered on an individual basis.
